About the First Visit
Our initial intake is typically 60-90 minutes, depending on the provider. This gives us time to take a full history, do a physical exam if needed, any get started with any labs. Sometimes even 60 minutes doesn’t give us enough time to address all your concerns, so we may ask you to make a follow up appointment if you would like us to address multiple health concerns. If labs are done, we may ask you to schedule a follow up visit to review the lab results. Follow up visits are 15-45 minutes, depending on the complexity.
Insurance
Most of our practitioners take insurance. Each practitioner is contracted with multiple insurance companies. If your provider is not contracted with your insurance company, we can provide an itemized bill for you to submit to your insurance company. We do not verify benefits in the office, so if there is a concern, it is best that you verify benefits with your insurance company. Whether or not we are a preferred provider with your insurance company, we can not guarantee that they will pay for your care. As with any other health care provider, you are responsible for any portion of your care that your insurance company does not cover.
